What makes a great movie?
I think a great movie draws emotion from within.
Whether it is anger, sadness, anticipation, joy or fear,
the mere feelings makes me think it is a great movie.
My favorite films cover  wide cross section of genres.
Blazing Saddles, Star Wars, The Blues Brothers, Chocolat, Rear Window,
Animal House, Saving Private Ryan, The Seven Samurai,
The Wind That Shakes the Barley, Young Frankenstein are just a few.
As an adult it is fun to see movies that don't make you think.
But seeing something that truly gets your mind working is great.
Music I believe does the same thing.
Sometimes it brings you to a new and exciting place.
Sometimes it returns you to a time and place to relive either happy or sad times.
Can you remember a particular song and then remember the exact place
you were when you heard it?
I know this seems a bit deep, but art in any form stirs emotion.
Life is full of emotion and that is what drives us.
So this weekend, go out and enjoy some.
Whether it is music or film, photographs or painting, wildlife or sport.

I was fortunate enough to and spend some time at Foxwoods last weekend.
Eddie Izzard played the MGM grand.
His show was great. I like comedians that make you think.
Intellectual comedy is great!

Snowmageddon II, The WTCC Weekly Radio Chart!

This weekends Nor' Easter was a crazy.
The storm started off slow, but boy did it pick up late Friday.
We woke uo Saturday morning, it took a few hours to get the snow under control.
By Saturday night, 11:30 PM, we were good.
Sunday, the following day, it was a whole different story.
I had get up to my parents house to help them out.
Three houses later we were done.
The funny thing, the Weather Channel is predicting another storm for next weekend.
